W39 Casual Dining - Delicious Rainbow Cake!

Visited the place on a Sunday for dinner at about 6pm and it was already quite crowded when we reached there. 

Apparently it is a very popular place for the residents living around that area. If you travel by bus you can take bus 285 from Clementi Bus Interchange and alight at the 3rd bus stop. Or if you prefer to walk, though it is quite a distance, it is right behind Clementi Stadium.

Homemade Crab Cakes

We ordered homemade crab cakes, confit of duck leg, grilled pork rack, and rainbow cake. My wife loves the crab cakes, which is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and you can actually taste the crab meats and capsicum. It is a pity it comes with only two pieces per serving; four pieces would be great. However we were disappointed with the other 2 dishes. Firstly instead of a rack, the grilled pork rack looks like pork chop, and for the confit of duck leg, well, let’s say I have tasted better. 

Rainbow Cake

Luckily there is the rainbow cake. At first bite it tastes very normal but after the 3rd or 4th helping you will be addicted. It has a clean simple taste and when served chill it is simply delicious. I was quite tempted to buy the whole cake home. Should I visit this place again, it will definitely be for their cakes.
